Personal information is collected by Declutter with Mel for and on behalf of Declutter with Mel only.

Declutter with Mel use web analytics services through squarespace. ‘Squarespace Analytics’ is my reporting platform and gives me insight into how my site is performing. With Squarespace Analytics, I can get a clear picture of my visitors and their behaviour through visual reports on statistics like pageviews, navigation paths and popular content.

You can delete cookies from your hard drive at any time and you can set your internet browser so that it will not allow cookies to be stored on your computer.

How I store your information

Your information is stored electronically on a secure cloud-based service. Any paper documents containing data will be stored in a securely.

  • To create and complete invoicing

  • To contact individuals who have expressed interest in a service or undertaken a service

  • To carry out a service

  • To monitor and understand website traffic

  • To follow up post service

  • To promote my services by using testimonials

  • To enforce a contract and pursue client for payment if overdue/unpaid

Data received from a third party

I may indirectly receive personal information from a business I partner with as a result of you expressing an interest in my services and requested to be contacted by me.

I will retain and delete your personal data as follows

Your data such as name, address, email and contact numbers will be retained for 6 years from the final date of my service with you. Or, 2 years from the last date you expressed interest in my service. This excludes if monies were still outstanding, as contact details will remain on file until all aspects of the contract, such as payment, have been fulfilled.

Your information will be disposed of securely by shredding any paper documents and by deleting electronic files that contain personal data.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that I hold on you.
